I just can’t express the depth of my gratitude adequately. It’s great to know that when Baylee or I have had a bad experience related to alopecia, we now have friends we can reach out to who know what we are going through. Wigs are provided to approved recipients FOR FREE. Wigs For Kids definitely has the longest and strictest hair donation policy. The opportunity to share and learn from other parents was also very meaningful and supportive. This organization requires hair to be a minimum of 12 inches long and can not be chemically treated AT ALL. Baylee now knows she is not alone and has made lasting friendships. While we accept hair donations of 12 inches or longer, we encourage you to donate 14+ inches of hair the more length.

I also want to thank you for bringing these girls who walk the same path of hair loss together. Start by following the 3 simple steps below. You just can’t imagine the positive change we have seen in her. I looked at her while we were riding to the restaurant after the marina and said, “Who are you and what have you done with Baylee?” LOL camp had an extraordinary impact on her self-esteem and her outlook for her future. More importantly, thank you for giving me a new, happier version of Baylee. Baylee has worn her necklace every day and she isn’t even a jewelry girl. The flight, the royal welcome we received at the opulent Eau Hotel, the trip to the zoo, the day at the marina, the henna tattoos, the delicious meals, the beautiful rooms, and all the additional amenities and gifts were above and beyond anything we could have dreamed. I wanted to let each one of you know that you all hold a special place in our hearts for all you do on a daily basis for our young people with hair loss, but especially for what you did for us during camp week. I have struggled with finding words to sufficiently thank you for inviting us to your camp last June. Please forgive me for not sending this sooner.
